Frequently Asked Questions about Moving Sand Art
1. What should I do if the sand doesn’t fall or falls too quickly?
A: To achieve finer bubbles, gently shake the SandRuhe™. The smaller the bubbles, the more spectacular the formed landscape will be.
A: If the product has not been used for a few weeks, you can unlock the sand by gently tapping the glass, allowing the sand to flow again.
2. Should I ever fill it with water? What type of water should I use?
A: Yes, perhaps once a year. Over time, the water evaporates. We recommend spring water as the best option to refill the evaporated water.
A: NEVER REMOVE all the water from your sand image. Generally, you only need to add a few millilitres. Do not overfill, as too much pressure could break the glass.
3. Can there be leaks?
A: With proper use of the injection tool and normal use, the water should not leak. However, a little water may evaporate through the joint.
4. Does the same sand pattern form each time it is turned?
A: No, each time, the final result is fascinating and different. Truly magical!
